📌 Ingredients
For the Cream Mixture
-
400 ml cold cream (whipping cream or heavy cream)
-
200 ml milk
-
1 can milk jam (dulce de leche) OR ½ cup powdered sugar
-
1 packet vanilla (or 1–2 tsp vanilla extract)
-
200 g cream cheese or mascarpone (optional but adds richness and stability)
For the Layers
-
1 packet graham crackers or petit beurre biscuits
-
3 ripe mangoes (cut into cubes or thin slices)
-
½ cup milk (for dipping/softening the biscuits)
For the Topping
-
Mango purée
-
Blend 1 mango + 1 tbsp sugar
-
-
Crushed graham crackers or shredded coconut (optional)🍰 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Cream
-
In a deep, cold bowl, whip the cold cream until it doubles in volume and becomes fluffy.
-
Add the milk, cream cheese/mascarpone, vanilla, and milk jam/sugar.
-
Beat again until completely smooth and creamy.
-
Chill the cream in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes so it firms up slightly.
2️⃣ Build the Layers
-
Prepare a rectangular or square dish (glass dish works best).
-
Pour ½ cup milk into a shallow bowl.
-
Dip each graham cracker briefly into the milk — soft but NOT soggy.
-
Arrange a single layer of softened crackers at the bottom of your dish.
-
Spread a generous layer of cream on top.
-
Add a layer of mango slices or cubes.
-
Repeat: biscuits → cream → mango for 2–3 more layers, depending on your dish height.
-
Finish with a final layer of cream, then spoon mango purée over the top.
-
Add fresh mango slices and crushed graham crackers/coconut (optional).
3️⃣ Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
For best results, refrigerate overnight so the biscuits soften into a cake-like texture.
✨ Serving
-
Slice and serve cold.
-
Garnish with extra mango cubes, coconut, or graham crumbs.
-
Excellent alongside iced coffee or a mango smoothie!
💛 Tips for Perfect Mango Grahams
-
Use ripe, fragrant mangoes for maximum flavor.
-
If you prefer a lighter dessert, choose powdered sugar instead of milk jam.
-
Don’t make layers too thin — thick layers give the best texture and flavor.
-
For a firmer cake, add more cream cheese or refrigerate longer.
