Ingredients:
-
7 cups Water
-
1 cup Cassava flour
- 1 cup White sugar
-
3 large Avocados
-
1 can (370ml) Evaporated milk
-
1 can (300ml) Condensed milk
Instructions:
-
Prepare the cassava mixture:
-
In a large pot, bring the 7 cups of water to a boil.
-
Gradually whisk in the cassava flour, making sure to dissolve it completely to avoid lumps. Stir constantly.
-
Once fully dissolved, continue to cook for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool down a bit.
-
-
Prepare the avocado:
-
While the cassava mixture is cooling, cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
-
Blend the avocados until smooth. If you’d like, you can add a splash of water or milk to make it easier to blend.
-
-
Mix everything together:
-
In a large bowl, combine the thickened cassava mixture, blended avocado, evaporated milk, and condensed milk.
-
Stir until everything is well incorporated and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
-
-
Sweeten to taste:
-
Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. Keep in mind that the condensed milk is already sweet, so you may not need much extra.
-
-
Freeze:
-
Pour the mixture into ice candy molds or plastic bags.
-
Seal them well and place them in the freezer for 6-8 hours, or until they are completely frozen and firm.
-
-
Serve:
-
Once frozen, remove the ice candies from the molds or bags.
-
Enjoy your creamy, avocado-flavored ice candies!
